So today was a very successful day. I am so proud that a lot of you took time out and helped with this awesome event.

Please answer the following questions:

1) What was your most memorable moment?
2) Why do you think it is important for us as young Catholics to help with a event such as this in our community?

  1. Yay! I'm the first to comment on this! I feel so proud of myself.
The most memorable moment today was working in the parking lot and being able to see an old vietnamese man curse out Samuel for touching his car. It is important for us young Catholics to help with events in the community because it gives us a better perpective of how we positively affect others lives by putting our hands together. Also, it allows us to feel important by giving us the role of the "giver" in society.

  2. Hello my fellow Thieu Nhi Buddies:] i thought today would be a boring event because it sounded like we were all just going to help old people and annoying little kids, but i was glad the even proved me wrong. It was actually very fun and i met a few very cool nurses and doctors and more bonding time with you guys hehe. The most memorable moment today was when this lady came by my station and she was waiting to get a flu shot but there was none left so she agreed to getting the FluMist. Then half throughout the flu transaction, she got scared and ran out the door (by the way, she only got the mist on her left nostril) LOL! This event exemplify how it is important for young Catholics to get involve in the community because it's a chance for us to give back and help those in need in the community (who can later on help us back in a different way). Bye friends..let's have some fun and learning tomorrow!- Duyen^_^ asianstyleeeee

  3. My most memorable moment about today or yesterday was Samuel's encounter with an angry asian man. lol. Activities and events like these help put yourself out there to see what you do, what you do, and your reason. As Catholics we have a responsibility. Its great to be deeply religious and be the nicest person out there, but the only way that could be put to full potential is done showing yourself out in the public representing what you believe in. A tree makes no sound if no one is around to hear it. =]

  4. my most memorable moment was when a kid came to my station, sat down, saw the flumist and started crying, but after he stopped and laughed. hah. For young catholics, it is important to help with community events such as this because it helps them grow as a person and will probably make them engage in future community services.
